Peru. They are lovingly hand-knit, handloomed, embroidered and crocheted stitch by stitch by artisans using knitting expertise that has been handed down for generations. We’re delighted every day by the skill and artistry of our knitters.

FAQ's

Are the Dolls machine washable? 
We recommend you hand-wash your cuddle+kind doll and lay it flat to dry to help preserve the doll’s shape and details.

What is the Doll made of?
Each doll is knit, embroidered and crocheted with premium 100% cotton yarn that has been safety tested. They are finished with hypoallergenic, polyester felt details and stuffed to the ideal cuddle weight with hypoallergenic polyester filling.

Are your Dolls safety tested?
The safety of little ones is our highest priority. Our dolls have been tested by a certified third-party facility to meet or exceed US, Canadian and European safety requirements for newborn and children’s toys. Due to the intricacy of our hand-knit mermaids Isla and Pearl, we recommend those dolls for children aged 24m+. The yarn used to hand-knit each doll has been additionally tested to be safe and non-toxic. We recommend that young children be supervised when playing with all toys, including our dolls.

Why are the Dolls a bit more expensive?
Every cuddle+kind doll is artfully handmade, stitch by stitch by talented artisans. Some dolls have unique details that require a little more skill and craftsmanship to produce. For example, Stella the Polar Bear has beautiful premium details including the unique yarn used to hand-knit her “fur” vest and boots, and her three dense pompoms that are individually made by hand, never by machine. Our lambs have intricate popcorn-stitch bonnets that are knit by hand and a tremendous amount of care goes into this handcrafted detail.
